more horsepower for explorer

Hi my friends, im new here on this forum. Im from Puerto Rico and I own a 2000 Ford Explorer 4.0L V6. I was wondering if u guys could help me out. I want to give it a little bit more power but not by spending too much. I was thinking on a cold air intake, full exhaust, and a "performance module" from ebay wich I dont even know if they work. --> heres the link -->

I would be very thankfull if you guys could throw me a few pointers in what I can do... thanks guys..

That thing is a scam, dont buy junk like that.
Inside that box is a 10 cent resistor from radio shack. Its used to screw up the intake air temp sensor. Your truck will think its always cold out, advance the timing and burn rich. If this was a good idea the engine would have been designed that way.

The cheapest way to get another 50 horse out of that engine is with one of these kits.

i agree 100% with that above^^^^^ a nos kit is around $550-$600 for everything. but thats a little pricey. change all your fluids, rear ens, trans, motor oil to synthetic. get a good set of spark plugs and wires. the cold air intake is good. a cat-back exhaust will help. if you want a chip, a programmer after all your mods, then contact james at www.hensonperformance.com. he's on this forum. you get the sct programer with 3 custom tunes mede for your vehicle. i believe it $395.00. a little pricey again, but well worth it.
