I am looking at buying a used 03 Mountaineer with a V-8 and AWD. I know the transmissions in these trucks don't have a dipstick and I want to check the transmission fluid to see if it is burnt. I will be able to put the truck on a lift. what is the best way to get a small sample of the transmission fluid?
Also, while i have it in a lift what else should I check out?
