Linky no worky.

Not sure if rangers & explorers are the same. Not many light bars fit Explorers.

Email the seller to see if it fits.

i'm gonna say be careful, i have something like this, and it's a Fabtech bar off of a Toyota Tacoma i believe (bought it through a member on here). Mine mounts to the physical bumper i'm not sure if that one mounts to the bumper or the frame. Keep in mind that you can make pretty much anything fit with a small amount fabrication.

With that being said, i would try to find out how exactly and what exactly it mounts to to be sure.

i found instructions to the light bar. It says it mounts to the bumper, so my next question is, are the bumpers on 96-97 rangers the same as a 97 explorer?

based off these two i would say they both have a dip in the center which is probably where they mount up. but like i said before. you will probably have to do some fabrication to get it to fit.
