Okay, so who all is coming?

For repairs so far we have a manual t-case swap for Friday night and possibly a clutch replacement on a 79 CJ5, we'll see.

Of course I'll be there. Not sure if I'm comin up Friday evening or Saturday morning yet.

Wanna do a little welding on my exhaust and maybe some brackets on the front bumper for those new lights.

Might want to install that power steering cooler too, after planning out the ARB air system.

Yep, the slave cylinder and trow out bearing are one unit. It will definitely make swapping the t-case easier. We could pull the tranny Friday night and re-install it Saturday after wheelin on Saturday which would still allow you to play Sunday

The hole is already in the floor, we just have to move the access plate.

To replace the slave cylinder, you have to completely remove the tranny. We can remove the tranny and t-case as a unit and than swap the manual one in while it's in the middle of the driveway instead of on our backs.

Andy - Not sure if it's already in the shop, but I'd recommend Lakewood Transmission (think it's exit 125 near McChord)...

Kevin - May have to travel to D.C. that weekend (13th), so I'm 50-50 for the event. If I can fit it in, probably just a day trip on the Buell... Are there some Tahuya-like trails with a few obstacles / play areas, or is it gnarly from start-to-finish?

Entrance is a strong 3. Mostly tight rooted trails. No outbacks

But. . . , your call is very important to us!!! Yep, thanks for the tech support this weekend - - was cleaning up the t-case last night and noticed to cracks in the rear drive shaft housing (bolts to the main unit where the t-case yoke emerges), so I guess all the thrashing did more than I thought. . . Fun!

You should be able to get the from Atlas. I think that is the bearing housing for the rear output shaft. Sounds like a possible good time to upgrade to the larger output and 1350 u-joints. I don't see a listing of Atlas parts on they're website, so it's probably gonna require a call.
