thanks but now i have another problem. is there a way to by pass the stock amp so i can you my aftermarket stereo? my problem is that i cant find the speaker wire colors on the plug. i know those are right though.

I just replaced my front door speakers on my '96 Sport today, and the colors are different from those mentioned here. The right front speaker wires are white/green stripe and purple, and front left are light blue/white stripe, and orange/green stripe if I recall correctly. Doesn't matter if you get + and - mixed up so long as the + coming out of the stereo terminates on the + terminal of the speaker aka long as the same wire is used. Colors are irrelevant so long as you remember where they go.
