US Check engine light blinking when giving gas

I JUST BOUGHT A 94 EXPLORER XLT - RUNS LIKE A CHAMP - THE ONLY PROBLEM IM HAVING IS WHEN I NEED TO GET SOME SPEED TO GET UP A HILL OR TO JUMP ON THE HIGHWAY OR JUST IN GENERAL WHEN I PRESS THE GAS A LITTLE HARDER THAN NORMAL- THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BLINKS STAYS ON FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS UNTIL I LET MY FOOT OFF THE GAS THEN IT SHUTS OFF - I SEARCHED THIS PROBLEM ON THE NET AND SEEN SOME PEOPLE SAY A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT THINGS - O2 SENSOR BEING ONE OF THEM - IM SURE SOMEONE ON THIS SITE HAS THE KNOWLEDGE TO HELP ME SOLVE THIS - PLEASE HELP -

PS- THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ENGINE IS NOT INTERRUPTED BY THIS AT ALL IT MAY SEEM A LITTLE SLUGGISH OR MABEY THATS ME

have the codes read and post the code numbers so we can better help you. have you checked you plugs and wires and your basic maintenance items at all?

I have change the plugs and wires - all general maintance was done - this past weekend -
