2002 Ford Explorer - 4x4 Stuck on - No 4x4 dash light.
I have a 2002 Explorer XLT. 6cyc. 108k miles.
My 4x4 is stuck on...with no 4x4 dash light. Its been about 2 days. I press the 4x4 button and the 4x4 light comes on in the dash. I test and it IS in 4x4. Go back and press auto button, light in dash goes off, STILL in 4x4. I have been driving it..have to get to work. It drives but she obviously gets super pissed off at me when i have to turn. This exact thing happened a month ago but only for a few hours. You guys know whats up? Oh, and I tried searching for this problem but couldn't find my exact situation.. Side Note: Last year I had 4x4 locked on with the light and it was the control module. I got a new module and it was fixed. This doesn't feel like the same problem. |
