15'' rim is to small... wont clear the caliper

Thank ya man,
lol
close call there
almost blew $400

When I got my Ex, it had 15" American Racing wheels on it with a 4" lift. The lift was just relocated brackets on the rear lower control arms, and cut and extended struts in the front. The wheels cleared, sorta. They had very little backspacing, so that helped, and they still rubbed the calipers in the rear slightly. The previous owner also had to remove the front brake shields and clearance a few things. The Ex is now at stock height and those wheels are long gone, but they can be made to work. Not a good idea, though.

My misunderstanding on that. I thought all second gens had 15" wheels. Sorry about that.

Well seeing as how i probably will not be using 15" wheels who has a idea* for 33"tires ???
*=not trying to spend "mucho dinero"
(alot of money)

I always like the classic look of a small rim big tire wen it comes to my truck.. 33x12.50R15..

will wheel spacers do the job? i spose if you are gonna spend $400 you may as well go for something that'll fit on....16's?

shanster that is a sick looking bus you've got, cherry bloody ripe

The truck can handle the 15 inch wheels with little modification..I simply rounded the edgy corners of my knuckles and made some adjustment to my brakes and the wheels fit fine..my only problem was when I went to to brakepads the newer thicker pads caused my caliper to touch the inside of my rim by an asshair..small wheel spacers solved that tho. It was an easy project and I love the way my 15s look on my truck..so if you found a good deal on rubber, get the 15s and make them work :p
