Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 2002-2005 section. Don't play with the set screw adjustment. You might have a vacuum leak or a bad IAC. What were the previous code numbers?

Check for a binding or sticking throttle body. Also, my X had a high idle when it got hot. The hotter the engine got the higher the idle speed. I ended up replacing the IAC with one from Autozone (needed one fast, otherwise I woudl have gotten a motorcraft one). Problem went away.

Double ck the throttle cable, sometimes they wear and stick, closely inspect it down at the gas pedal.

What is the idle speed as indicated by your tachometer?

It is true that there is no idle screw adjustment, as it is computer controlled.
