Looking for help/part

Ok little brief description...i had a slime air compressor i used it once and the a/c adapter that plugs into the cigarette lighter broke. Not only did it break but the top peice of the plug is now stuck in the a/c plug. I first tried getting it out with pliers then after shocking myself a couple times decided the smart thing was to disconect the power. tried again now luck theres nothing to grab on to and im making it worse if anything. My question is what the hell do i do now, its the plug in the back so its not a total loss casue i still have the one up front. What type of part would I need if I needed to replace the housing that holds the plug. I dont now what it would be called or where to find it. after fixed i will gladly throw out my slime compressor and buy one a little more durable.

Remove the consol and attack it from the back. Probably hung up on some metal finger or something inside the socket.
