My first "Service engine soon" light :-(

Ok got my first error code to day. I read the error code as P0307 and P03016 and that meens misfire ,right. So what is best to do first to find the problem? Plugs are new only 3000 milage. And is ok to drive the car like this? I don´t feel any difference driving it.

P0307 Cylinder 7 Misfire Detected. Could be loose spark plug (apparently they have been know to blow out on some engines), or sparkplug wire or Coil Over Plug (COP) if it has them. Could also be a bad spark plug.

replace wire, COP, and plug for cylinder 7.

The 2v's are known to spit plugs.

Ok did swap coil 7 with coil 6 and the light have not come back yet. The coil were pretty messy "sand and water" maby that was the problem? I cleand them and sprayed it with WD40. But before I noticed that it idel roughly and then the light was flashing. What is the diffrence between flashing light and not?..

What is the difference between flashing light and not?

Q: Is it safe to drive if my "Check Engine" light is on?

A: It really depends what code is stored and what caused it. In worst cases driving with "Check engine" light may cause more damage to the vehicle. A car may even stall while driving. If your check engine light came on, I'd certainly recommend to visit your dealer or a mechanic as soon as possible, just to be on a safe side. If the Check Engine light is flashing, this means that the engine computer (ECM) has detected that your engine is misfiring, which could damage your catalytic converter. Have the your vehicle inspected as soon as possible.

Ok the light seems to be gone so it was probably the water. So I went out this morning and took all the coils out and blow compressed air down to the plug hole to get the water out and sprayed the coils with WD40. And now we just wait and se if it was realy that easy. Has anyone experienced this? The weather here have been very bad and the hood was at least 3 times completely packed with snow like concrete and now it has been 45°F for about week so all the snow is mostly cone.
