Man o man am I jonesing bad fer some trail time. Don't know how soon I'll be able to get out of town. June maybe. July for sure but it'll be hot then. Thinking maybe it'd be best for me if we could have another planned for September when I will be out for my HITR trip down south.

I haven't done skyline drive, but, last weekend I scouted out the mines above Stockton. The snow drifts should be melted by this weekend. We were really close to the top when we got stopped. I got 6 stitches this evening, so I'm not sure if I will be able to make it out this weekend. Lots of fun driving though, and I'm able to carefully manuver up the road in a stock first gen, so anybody should be able to make it. I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow.

Well either way I was going to get a 4x4. Whether it was a Jeep or an Explorer. I don't plan on keeping this rig for a long time (probably 5ish years). Getting a JK Wrangler is my ultimate goal.
Depending on how this summer goes, I'm down for wheeling. I'm going to be working 2 jobs, so keep in contact with me and I'll round up others.

Alright everyone. I got myself a second gen, if you all didn't know that... I'm going to be doing a lift on it as soon as I get some tires. Soon as that happens Im down for some trail runs.
Anyway;
Inspiration Point opens in mid July.
Farmington Canyon is closed, but skyline drive is accessible from Bountiful.

Lets get some suggestions going and possibly work on some days to meet up.

I can email you a google earth add-on that has all the utah trails organized by region.
Inspiration Point starts in Mantua Utah. It goes up to the top of a peak just north of willard peak. Its a 25 minute drive from Ogden.

Yes! Finally got a link back to this thread (thanks to Nate!). Should have the lift done this week/weekend if stupid stuff doesn't pop up. Totally down to go wheeling between the Ogden or Bountiful area! It would be so bad ass having the Hulk, Nate's V8, and Captain America all cruising down a road together!
