I have a 04 explorer when you activate the right front blinker it does not activate however activates the right rear in a fast pulse. All the hazards work including the right front, so I know it isnt a blown bulb. Every other blinker works except for this right front. I checked the #5 fuse and the realy in the engine compartment, even swapped it out, nothing.... What could this be?

Since you said that the bulb illuminates when you put the hazards on, you can rule out the fuse and the bulb. Your problem could be the flasher relay located on the back side of the fuse panel under the dash.

Some people have had issues like yours due to tilting the wheel down to the low position. This pulls on the wiring harness and could cause the connector to become loose. Try moving the wheel all the way up and see if that does anything. You can also check to make sure the connections for the multifunction switch are properly seated. Here is the how to on replacing the multifunction switch. You can use it as a guide when checking the connections. If all the connections are tight then it could be the multifunction switch itself.

Good luck and be sure to keep us posted. :biggthump
