1994 explorer limited speaker help

I have a 1994 explorer limited with the premium JBL sound system in it. Since i installed my new deck, i think i overpowered the sub or something and now it's blown. I was wondering what size that sub is so I can find a replacement. Thanks

Good luck finding a 6" JBL sub. There is a company that makes a replacement surround suspension for that speaker, but you will eventually over power it again. The amp produces 45w x 1. I bought a JL audio 8" sub and carved out the hole a bit bigger to accomidate. Heres the end result..

It sounds alot better.
