US The overdrive light is flashing on my 1995 Ford Explorer.

The overdrive light is blinking on my car and the cars rpms rev up high before changing to second gear but changing to the other gears is fine...what could be the possible things that are wrong with the car?

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmissions section. Don't continue to drive it this way. Find out what the code numbers are.
