Scratch Marks on Rubber

I noticed that I have quite a few scratch marks on the horizontal rubber piece along the front side windows. Almost looks like marks may have been left by someone scrapping ice off the side windows. It is worse on the driver's side. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their Explorer?

Thats no good on a new truck! When did you pick up the truck? Are you referring to the Lower sections (window sweeps) or Upper sections (run channels)?

It is that thick rubber strip that is at the bottom. Just picked up the vehicle on Monday. It is a lease so I'll point that out next time I'm at the dealer.

In that case perhaps I should highlight them.
The good thing is that they are only noticeable when you are up close.

I have the same problem.....I actually have a couple small gouges in my passenger side rear door. All happened before I picked it up.

For the marks in the rubber, I had the same thing with my F-150. They disappeared using a little Back to Black and some elbow grease.

There are 3 products you could try to improve the appearance:

Black WOW
