Bought car a few months back need to know how to reset the keyless entry keypad on door. Thanks

Welcome aboard!

In order to change to code, you need the factory code. The factory code is located on the security module. Check out this thread for locating the security module, thanks to Welli for a great write-up!!: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/...ght=entry+code

Once you have the code, you can program a personal code. The factory code will always work whether you have a personal code programmed or not.

Here is the procedure for programming the keypad. I apologize for the size of the pics, but I wanted you to be able to read them:
