My transmission slips occasionally, and I have a flashing O/D light.

99 ranger
My 99 Ranger 3.0 transmission slips only intermitently, somedays it is fine other days it slips. Sometimes when it slips I get a flashinf O/D light. No codes are showing
 






Welcome to this forum! I've moved your post into its own thread with a new title in the transmission section. You have to have a code if the O/D light flashes. Not every scanner is capable of reading manufacturer specific transmission codes.
