Question Fuel pump disconnect tool recommendations.

What is the best tool for fuel line disconnect from filter and pump?? Also I just changed my fuel pump and filter 6 months ago and my pump went out again , can somebody help me out??

I got a little kit of fuel line/ A/C line disconnectors at O riellys for $20. I thought it was pricey at the time for little plastic tools but they sure did come in handy. The kit had like 6 different sizes for different line sizes.

u know ive tried a a cut off bic cap, cut off sharpie cap, the scissor metal types, and the plastic habor freight ones to no avail.
