I totally forgot to ask you how you are liking the 3.55 to 4.11 gear change!? Have you had a chance to really notice the new torque yet?

That thing is cuh-leeaan

Thanks Yeah so far the gears are hands down one of the best mods I've ever done. Before I felt like I was towing something heavy anytime I drove...now it feels like its actually got some torque. Still breaking them in for about 200 more miles....then I'll get out on a trail somewhere and test out the locker.

Haha good catch. Forgot to list those. Yeah I am using F-150 tow hooks. It was a little tricky getting them to work with the way the brushguard mounts but they're on there in the last pic.

yea i thought it looked like them. im trying to figure out howto put them on. the ones ive seen look like they hug around the frame, meaning the bumper brackets wont go on.

these bolt to the frame but actually dip downward away from it. Maybe get a bracket of some kind welded on?

i see what youre saying, they have folded sides and i was thinking you hug that over the frame, which would make the hook so higher up.
youre saying do it the other way so it hangs down. this is how you meant?(only down not sidways like this)

Yes, the tow hooks fit on exactly as you described. The flat side is what bolts to the frame, those vertical pieces are just for strength.

45 dollars for 2 is a good price....they are very solid and I think you'll like them.

The new arms are in full production and I got a text from Brandon last week that they should be shipped out any day now.

Adding another mod to the project list: Onboard Air

This one should inflate tires with no problem and also allow some limited use of air tools:
