It's like it was made to go in there... Well, that aught to push you around the water a bit.

I took it easy today.. I checked the front end to see if the bearings had come loose. Tightened and greased the ballistic joins on the RAs. I installed some hose clamps as J-hooks on the front springs (removed the one J hook that was left).

I also rotated the tires on the Mustang today..

I did have to change clothes though.. I started working wearing shorts but I kept burning my knees on the concrete. I also had to put down my old welding gloves when I had to put my hands on the ground.. Too hot for that too..

Luckily its only about 100F today but "in the sun" is really hot.. I need to get that roof on the carport.

It was a "cool day" at 100 here too, but you can definitely feel the humidity coming up

Cool, I have a V Max too but it has two tires not a prop. That must have been difficult to load!

Pete- good thing you have a Gen II. If it was a 2011+ it might have collapsed those cardboard-ish seat fold-down cover panels...

GRNMACHINE, the OEM replacement at Advanced Auto is $15 and takes just a couple minutes to replace. I was tired of 1) not being able to clean my windshield and 2) tired of fussing with a couple used ones for parts trucks.

takes about 5 minutes to change (assuming that your reservoir is empty)

The V-65 is a sweet ride. Love the looks and the power...

The new V-Max is really nice but I just can't part with 20K for a toy like that. You can find them around 12-14 used but that is still too much for me to spend on a bike. Especially when I still haven't regeared by Ex yet...

I'll put a couple pics in my album.

Put a dark blue/silver with grey leather int. 1998 Mounty on "lay-away" at the local pawnshop. It needs a home, and I need a "new" ride to play with

Yea, they'll dry. Lol

The stock 1st gens interior is quite water and dust resistant. (Benefits of owning a beater)
