The dreaded P0171 and P0174 codes. Everything was taken apart, checked and re-checked. Only thing left was the upper and lower intake gaskets. What a job and a lot of issues but it has been accomplished. No engine codes, knock on wood, yet. Been thru the ringer on this one. Had all the problems everyone was having. Just wanted to share my experience on this adventure. If your going to do this job, I'm posting links below. BTW, change your valve cover gaskets while your doing this, everything is all ready off. A couple of things, the Felpro intake gasket set from Autozone, (PN# MS90732) comes with the upper intake O-rings, lower gasket, and the green "O" ring for the Egr tube ($25). But the lower intake gasket doesn't have the silicone rings on it. Had to go to the stealership and get one. If you go to ford, they sell the upper, lower, and Egr O-ring separately. Ford: lower intake- $33, Upper intake o-rings-$27, O-ring, egr tube-$13. You save $15 bucks just buying the set from Autozone and the lower intake from ford. I would suggest buying injector O-rings (12qty), they come in packs of 4 and will set you back, $12. I'm glad this is over. Links below. Happy Trails
