A funny rant I have about my ST.

So I wash my ST and dry it off really well. SO I think hey I'm done!! Then I notice this little stream of water draining down from the tie downs. So I wipe it off no biggy. Then I walk by a few mins later and guess what? Thats right more water!! ARGG Seems like it takes about 3-4 hrs before it stops. HAHAH

My right rear hold down does the same. Walk by it and wipe it off for days it seems. It now has a small stain of the drip in the paint.

I was going to make a completely crude comparison but I moderated myself before I could do it!

I also tried that Mothers Powerball I got for X-mas. Its kinda of meh, its way to big for the stock wheels. I would give it 4/10 stars.

Mine too. I stuff a paper towel under each hook overnight to soak up the water. I think it tracks down the bed cap and puddles in th hook area.

I have the same problem - my taillights do the same thing as well. Soap tries to hide in the fringes of my taillights too, I have to stick the hose right up against the edge of the lights to get it out.

I actually just washed mine a couple days ago - I just use the shammy a bunch around those.

Looks like they have been discontinued. I was hoping someone knew of a odd ball site that still had them. I also dont think I have the talent to make my own. LOL

Don't feel alone or by yourself.....I hate the water drain from the tiedowns. I use a leaf blower to get as much gone as possible. I use Mothers detail spray and a Microfiber cloth to get rid of the water spots.

You can get a local CNC metal manufacturer to duplicate them if you had a sample. Drilling the countersunk holes for the screws needs to be a certain angle to fit properly. Mine were a little tricky to install due to this angle.
