Transfer case?

Ok, so my 94 exploder auto has an electric transfer case. I can get it to go into high, but it won't go into low at all. Is it the transfer case that isn't working right or something else? The light doesn't light up on the dash, nor do I hear it engage.

A high percentage of the time, that indicates a problem with the shift motor. This gets discussed a lot, and I know we have some threads discussing how to take the shift motor apart and clean/rebuild it (I think it is in the useful threads forum).
