^ What the title says - What would most likely cause this? Only at the lowest tilt setting does the left blinker stop working (both the dash indicator and exterior lights). If I have the hazards on, the same thing happens. Right blinker always works and the flasher rate is always normal.

I'm mostly concerned that eventually the blinker will never work. Thanks all. 98 Ex.

Pinched wire in the column. Pull the covers, tilt wheel, look for pinched wire or loose retainer holding the wire into the MFS.

Wow awesome - will check this tonight. Thanks for the link.

I never use my tilt, I have the Ron Popiel version, "Set It and Forget It!!"

I had this problem, my clips that hold the plug to the MFS were broken off.. so the steering wheel stays where it is..... or else all kinds of wacky things happen.

So I found that the plug common to the hazard switch had a broken tab and was held tight with a zip tie, and more importantly, two of the pins were loose.

Some hot glue and about 30 seconds later with a new zip tie, and all seems well. Fingers crossed for no more problems. Thanks everyone!
