2002 Ford Explorer XLT

New 2002 Ex owner
Hello All. Just purchased a 2002 Explorer XLT as a 2nd car. Hoping to learn lots and pick up great tips here.
I have to say you guys are making me nervous about the transmission. This Ex has 146K on it and the original transmission. Hopefully I won't have any issues. |

With 146K on the clock you may be in good shape...I have heard the most of the trannys on our Ex's that fail happen before that.
So you may have a good one...good luck with her
