The other day I noticed the service light stayed on, i had a friend of mine with a computer scanner check the system, no readings or code appeared, he then cleared the service soon light but it turned on again, next time he made scan the scanner could not read the computer, I took it to a work shop and same thing, they advised on changing the PCM, if this is true, I dont want to spend too much i am planning on getting a newer model, i took a look in ebay and I saw lots of PCM second hand, is it possible to use one of those PCM in my vehicle?? any advise would be greatly appreciated. vehicle runs smooth but it worries me that it could not start one of this days.
