Just had an update from the dealer, apparently they were able to buff it out eventually but are having to order new pieces for the roof rack and the outer fender trim piece. They also verified that they reapplied the Lux-Care I had originally had on the car.

I'll make sure to look it over real close, but can anyone provide any tips to look for in the paint to make sure there is NO damage?

Had the tsb done on mine, they didn't get the stuff anywhere thank god!......downside I can't tell a difference the roof still tins!.......I think they just said they did it and used the foam to fill in the cracks around the pipes in the shop...

Maybe they used some DAP foam from homedepot, my SA had a can sitting on his desk, so I wonder if they used what the TSB states or they tried saving a buck by going to the hardware store instead.
