2008 Sport Trac XLT no start

I have a 2008 Sport Trac XLT. Everything was working fine but the other day I misplaced the original key. So I decided to use the spare (I got the spare from the dealership from the day I purchased it new, but I have never used it). I was driving it and all of a sudden there was a loss of power and it died. I was not far from my destination so I decided to try and restart it. It fired back up. I made it where I needed to go. When it was time to leave it started but only ran for about a minute then it died. After that I get nothing no cranking or anything. I have checked all my fuses/relays and they are all good. I can hear the fuel pump engage. I have checked power at the starter, alternator and battery they are all good. One thing I did notice is when ever I attempt to start it the red light on the dash (anti-theft light) blinks really fast. I disconnected the battery for a while and it started back up but only for a few minutes then same problem happened. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
