I have not seen this pan before. I don't see any reason it won't work though. Is it a readily available part? It may cost less just to add a plug to your current pan.

I don't have access to the equipment to braze a plug onto my existing pan so I figured this might be easier.
I found it shipped for $72.48 from this place.

Do they make one for the 5R55E tranny?

They make drain plug kits that dont have to be welded/brazed on. I have that kind on 2 of our vehicles. B&M is one of the brands I used.
