vacuum regulator?

Hello all.
just got my explorer back from the dealer, they replaced the vacuum regulator and as soon as i got in it the a/c will only work on defrost mode only.is there a vacuum line that would have been touched and made it this way?i know it runs off of a vacuum line but are these connected or is this a fluke?

the easiest way to check is pull the vacuum lines on the passenger side kick panel. Put a vac gauge on the port there and see if you have vac. The most common leaks are in the lines under the hood. Mostly from the vaccum reservior on the passenger side under the air box to the firewall. Hope this helps.

It sounds like they have plugged the lines in to the regulator the wrong way around. I had this and swapping them over (they are a push fit) solved my problem.
