Okay, so there is no way in hell i'm paying 190 for the ee block kit, that is just ridiculous. But the 2nd gen has a 3.25" axle tube correct? i'm having a hard time finding a block kit for 2.5" leaf spring and 3.25" axle.
my question is, what blocks did you use?part numbers or at least brands would be very helpful of course,

thanks

I have looked at this belltech kit, but it says they are for 2.25" leaf springs, I am fairly sure the leaf springs on my explorer are 2.5" though,

Good finds, I missed those. Cast iron definitely is the way to go, especially at that price.
Remember to check bump stops for clearance, and correct negative camber by aligning. GL
