2001 Sport Brakes

I know this has probably been gone over again and again on here, but oh well.

I need new brakes for my 01 X Sport and I'm running into an issue. I was looking on my good ol' friend eBay because that's where I got my last set. eBay doesn't recognize the Sport as a submodel, just the Sport Trac.

So my main question is: What's the difference between Sport brakes and Sport Trac Brakes? and also: Would I be able to make Sport Trac brakes fit/work on just a Sport if they are different?

Should be the same 12" front rotors between the Sport and Sport Trac. The calipers and pads are the same all the way back to 1995.

The only difference should be whether the rotors are for 2wd or 4wd.

thanks. I wa only wondering because once someone told me the sport trac rears were designed different
