I recently bought a 2001 Sport Track. Really liking this little truck. Bought it from the original owner with 193k on it. Run & drives great. I do have 2 issues.
One being the rear window. He told me the motor quit with the window down. He took it to the dealer & they quoted over $500 to replace the motor. So he just had them unhook the motor & get the window rolled up. SO it is just set in place. I opened the rear panel & see the motor sitting there plugged in wiring wise. But unbolted & laying to the side. Found another motor on ebay. Can I just plug in the new one & be good to go? OR is there some specific procedure to doing this?
The second is the lock on the bed shell are busted. IS this a specific Ford ordered part? Or can I get aftermarket replacements?
