Today I was driving around my property and came along a large hole about 18 inches deep. I was able to miss it with the right wheel but not the left. When I turned, the drivers side went into the hole causing a groan and snapping back of the steering wheel. When I got back to the house I looked underneath and I could see where the drivers side Rack N Pinon bushing pushed out of the rack along the top about half way. I know also have a slight vibration at idle. Question is, can replace the bushing while it is still in the vehicle or will I have to take it out of the X. I'm also wondering if I did something to the power steering pump, but I don't here the groan anymore.
