TSB 13-9-6, 2013 Explorer PTU Vent Hose Leak

Just thought I'd let all the AWD Explorer owners know there's a new TSB out today.

"Some 2013 Explorer, Taurus, and MKS vehicles
equipped with all wheel drive (AWD) and built on or
before 1/25/2013 may exhibit power transfer unit
(PTU) fluid leak. This concern may be due to a
PTU vent hose which is missing or disconnected."

Hmmm...another TSB that may be applicable to me again. Thanks!

If anyone can get the detailed TSB, then please share. =)

The only other information is telling the dealer what to do to fix the item.

If you want, I can email you the .pdf

What are the symptoms of this leak? Does a check engine light or other warning come on? Just like to be prepared just in case...

This tsb is for the vent hose, not the rear seal that most have that leak.
There is already a thread for that one I posted pictures to.

If I read the post correctly, jeff59rt1 is not talking about pictures of the vent hose but of the PTU itself. I did a 'search' for the hose and did not find any pictures.
