2015 Ford Explorer Order Guide & Changes

Here is the order guide for the new 2015 Explorer.

Also a brief out line of the changes.

I guess the appearance package on the XLT is to make it look like the Sport?

Body color handles and tow package now standard on the Sport. Good move(probably increases base cost, but worth it).

New color for the Explorer (and Sport!) called Magnetic Metallic. Wonder what that looks like.

No HIDs on the Sport still. I wonder if Ford listen to customer feedback at all?

Any idea when this goes into effect as we just placed an order for the gray metallic the other day and I see they canceled it.

Order banks opened the 17th. If you have an order in for a 2014 and it was accepted you will still get exactly what you ordered.

Also the new colors are available on the 2015 super duty which is up on ford.com now if you want to know what they look like

Looks like medium gray on the F250 web page

Yeah, that Magnetic Metallic might look quite good with the Sport's blacked-out trim.

Wonder when we might see pics of the 2015's...

Hopefully Ford added LED daytime running lights -Gotta keep up with the GMs and everybody else.

I'm glad I don't miss my power fold 3rd row too much.

Will the magnetic metallic be on the sport? Doesn't say. Some of the colors listed for delete are not on the sport so curious if anyone has that confirmed.

Not sure if the color is enough for me to wait on my sport but it is tempting.

According to the Order Guide linked in post #1 , the Magnetic Metallic is available on the 2015 Sport.
