Damn, dude. Trying to re-pave the parking lot? Seriously though, looks like fun. I don't lay tracks much anymore because my BFGs are so friggin tacky I have to use too much brake and tranny life.

Well both, I guess. I still smoke em a bit off the line sometimes. It was really easy after the S/C install to lay 20' strips with the old RT/Ss. The same techniques don't work with the BFGs. I can lay strips in light wet easily though, it's just dry concrete that's tough. Asphalt is a bit easier.

For more of a picture, my RT/S used to always protest on sharp turns, esp with the posi. I can barely get the BFGs to break loose unless I really get nasty.

And no, i have no engine mods...i have low profile Michelin XC LT4's...and they are very slick, so if my car is warmed up, and im in the right setting (a slick parking lot) i can leave some nice burnout marks.

Heres my little secret though. Ever since we FINALLY got our first snow sat. night, salt truck have been out, and i've realized, i can leave some treads anywhere i want now, cause the salt makes it just dusty enough to loose traction on my rears, and then, well you know...SMOKE gotta stop doing it though, way to much tire is already gone casue of that. These need to last till spring!

Carl

Haha...till spring?? I don't even know how much longer mine lasts. After more than 30k of driving with those tires, they still look like new. I'm still trying to find a way to destroy them because I despise my tires. They're very noisy at all times and at all sorts of road surfaces and the ride is just plain rough. I know, I know...this is a truck but its ride is very punishing. Even my friend's '99 F-150 rides better than mine. So I told my dad I want Michelin CrossTerrains when spring comes nomatterwhat the condition of the tires.

Actually got mine to break loose today, partially because of this thread. I had to make a u-turn in 2.5 lanes. Well, I sped up to about 20 then braked and let off and did a perfect 180 into the lane I wanted to be in, it was very cool. My tires let out a nice squeel of protest, don't think they liked it too much
