SCHWEET
Holy CRAP!!
the other day, way home from school. i stopped at a light, and what pulls up to my left? a HELLA pimped out Ford Tarus SHO!!!! Autometer gauge's, 3 in a pod on the A-pillar. i was like "oh shit! thats so tight, he would tear me a new one in a race" i didnt even attempt to race him. when i was Jeep shopping, i found a 94 SHO for 9,880, but i really was looking for a Jeep. if i wanted a regular car, i would more than likely get a SHO. if nothing else, i would get some room, and it would kick some ass when i could beat most other cars on the road. now that i think of it, maybe, just maybe, if i get some money, and a good deal, i'll buy an SHO to drive around in places. but gaurenteed the insurance would be very high. and people would yell at me for having 3 cars. __________________ Let the good times roll |

*sigh* I really miss my '93 SHO. I was eaten rice everyday in that car. If Ford hadn't killed the SHO, I'd be driving a 2000 SHO right now.

What is the 1/4 mile times of a SHO? Is it faster than a Crown Victoria? If not, I'd rather have the Crown Vic with more room.

Ya stork, i am with ya, id rather have a vic, i think the new vics look pretty coo and they got the 4.6 V8, and the gas mileage is pretty good for that size engine

My mom used to have a SHO. It was sweet. You could chirp and spin the tires, and its an automatic. It beat a Mustang 5.0 once. . and yes we were both racing.

What engines were in/available for SHO's and during what years. Could someone do a little timeline for me? My friend thinks that the older ones had a V8 but i think they had a 6.

Here is a time line from http://www.shotimes.com. The V8 wasn't out until 1996, before then it was 3.0L or 3.2L V6.

I'd love to see pics of your cars. Your stang sounds sweet. Mine just has the usual boltons, gears, pulleys, H-pipe, etc. but a 347 stroker is being considered.
