The Blue Trac was a trooper! Just about 250,000 miles without any major problems, and towed the Cobra all over the North East for the last 8 years. Only stranded me once when the alternator crapped out.
It had all the usual problems:
Radiator
Driver's Door Latch
Leaking Thermostat housing
Healthy diet of front end parts & tires
Upper console display
But in general was a great truck to have, always reliable, started in all weather, never really complained. I found a killer deal on a newer F150, and pulled the trigger, the dealer gave me $1500 trade. I was genuinely sorry to see it go, but I did need a stronger tow vehicle.
I do have a box full of thermostat housing parts, including the repaired one I have yet to use. If you remember, I ran a few threads on this, and the last repair & modifications worked perfectly, never a leak again. Anybody wan these parts? I'll send it off free as my way of thanking this forum for saving me plenty of $$$ fixing my ST.
Thank you to everyone on this forum, you have been great and extremely helpful!
All the best,
Dan
