got home last night and was too tired to do anything, we hung around by ourselves after you guys all left and found some cool trails that were real challenging. i made it through them all though. they were real short but had alot of mud holes. jeff: you're nuckin futs man, that river crossing would have had me with a big pile of goo in my pants when the back came off the ground. i had a blast, like matt said, when do we go again?

Hey, which one was your truck? I don't even remember meeting you. Did you have the white truck? I might have 1 picture of you.

Powertrax ran about $370. You can get it from either Randy's ring and pinion, or from Central 4wd. Central and Randy have about the same price, but Central has a $40 instant rebate. I got mine from Randy's because he matched Central's price and then took a couple more off.

What kind of THREAD are you looking for?

Sorry I couldn't join you guys, I had 150cc of fluid removed from my left knee last week and am on crutches, cant even drive around town...5 speed.

The guy in the wrangler "JF" is a bergen county 4wd club member. this is what he wrote:

This past Sunday was real fun. We hooked up with the Explorer's group and went on some pretty sweet trails. 5hrs drive and some 10miles on the odometer... Nothing too hardcore since our Jeep was an 88 Wrangler bone stock that never went beyond “Hoboken Canyon”, but what a blast! That little thing went nice where those big Fords where getting stuck. Once we figured out how to switch in 4L, we were just fine. For 1st timers it was a good time. Weather was nasty and cold but the group was nice and welcoming.

July 12,13,14th is the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic 2002
at Paragon.

Hello all, I rode with Josh (JOT017). We had a good time and liked it a lot. The morning did start off a little slower than we would have liked it. I'll get my pics up on here really soon for you all. They all seemed to turn out really good. Chris did you find any sheep to take home with you? bbbbaaaaahhhhh.

JF and company were great people. We enjoyed having them along. What he didn't write is that they never did make it up the MiniRubicon where ALL those "big Fords" went up. He also didn't mention that he didn't do the creek crossing that 3 of us in the Explorers did, and I doubt that he could have. His Wrangler was on road radials and had almost no axle articulation. The place he went through that one truck got stuck was a gooey rocky mess that Parli22 had some problems with. (stock radials didn't cut it, and the extra weight of the sheep made him drag the rocks) The rest of us sailed through fine.
