well to the best of my memory it was a LT1....454? not sure....not real up on the bowtie stuff.....i do remember seeing the corvette script on the intake or valve covers.....at any rate it was totally crammed in there and it was bad....it looked like from the way they were driving it that it was kinda outa control

ok, if it was a LT-1 than it was a small block 350. still, a lot of motor to have in a Miata...
