i used the duplicolor paint it worked great for me i have no scratches and i use the X pretty hard so its a good bet it will work u
400 grit wet or dry paper to scuff it
DONT PRIMER THE PARTS the duplicolor will not bond
just spray the scuffed surfaces let dry for a awhile to let cure 100% then reinstall the part

Wow looks good. Did you just tape it off or what?

If you were referring to me, I actually pulled the handles out and painted them. I tried masking off the area the first time, but that only caused me to screw up more

Have you had to redo any of the work? I'm already gonna need to, so I think I'll try Molecubond if it works better (and isn't too expensive)

i only did this, cuz it was a cheap mod, and it looked cool, id recommend if you want it done permanently and without doubt, spend the $$$ on a good leather resksin, but if you are on a TIGHT budget like me, and dont mind the cheap quality then go for it!! Although the cheap quality part hasn't came about yet, i haven't had to touch up any areas on the seats etc. It still looks black, no flaking, or fading, and feels just like the leather its "bonded" to. I get compliments wherever i go, and i love it....overall this is a much cheaper way of getting black on your seats, and it has exceeded my expectations of a good product!!!
