Nice! Did you scratch the bone a bit with the tip of the hook?

No Joe, i didn't scratch the bone with that hook, the guy got hooked when he reached over the side to grab the bait, and the fish tried to get away at the same time,
He got hooked as the bait flung around in the fish's mouth,

so, when he pulled his hand back over the side of the boat, the fish, a Northern Pike about 41 inches long came with it, and thrashed around for a couple of seconds , till the hook came out of it, leaving the poor guide with this hook in him ,

sounds painful ?
you bet it was, the guide passed out ,

Got a smaller (trout) barbed hook stuck in my right big toe as a kid because I walked in the garage bare-footed. Mom thought it was a staple and pulled. I thought I was going to pass out. Ended up having an ER doctor remove it. It still gives me that sick feeling when I think of her pulling on it.

If that was the store I worked at, there would have been a display of Midol above that...

I saw these two on the way home from work today. Saw the car coming at me thinking WTF is that? Then I saw Steven driving and I knew what it was. It's only a 1.1 million dollar car. I must say it's much wider in person, like Batmobile wide.
