Digi Cam question

i have a Sony DSC-P30, i know its not the greatest but it gets the job done, and doesnt mind being dropped in mud (but will never do it again). ive gone through the manual front and back but cant find out anything about this...does anyone know if theres a way to adjust the shutter speed on this camera? im looking to use it for some time lapse stuff on my brothers telescope. thanx
