Maybe ya'll will like this, I just went out and taped it. I've got a flowmaster 40 series cat back with 2.5" pipes on it. Its the 4.0 OHV w/ 5 speed.

I dunno guys....I had a T/A take-off muffler on my 99 Camaro, V-6, and it sounded OK at idle, and ricey at above 3500......I want a throaty sound, like the regular 5.0 stangs, just not as 'tinny - echo-y' sounding.....

I need the 5.0 to sound like it....

i have a magnaflow muffer, 2.25" tubing and a 3" SS tip. at idle and low speeds there is almost no noticeable sound but when you get on it (or when u start it up) there is a nice deep tone. it sounds really good when u drive through a tunnel or in an underground parking lot
