Question What is a D2 axle.

When I checked my sticker on the drivers side door for axle it doesn't give a number for ratio like 3.55 it says D2 ; any ideas what that is?

I think I found it

According to this for rangers then D2 would be a 3.45 ratio for the rear axle. So now that I found it what exactly does that mean to me?????

You do not have the 3.45 ratio. The axle code D2 means you have the 4.10 Limited Slip system.
