Limited Wheels?
anyone know anything about Limited Wheels? (im talking about a brand name, "Limited" not a "ford explorer limited model" truck.) i found some damn cool rims made by Limited, and theyre a really good price with tires, but before i really get my heart set on them, i wanna do some research. are they good quality? are they crap?
TIA. __________________ "Sometimes I dream That he is me Can't you see that's how I wish my X to be Like tbomb's, if my X could be like tbomb's." icon34 |

www.limitedalloy.com their site kinda sucks, but at least you can see what each wheel looks like.

My little sister picked up a set of 17" Limited 800's for her Probe last summer. To tell you the truth, those wheels look hella nice-the only problem with hers is where she decided to get too close to a curb (ouch).
They're definitely nice wheels, especially for the money. __________________ 1998 Eddie Bauer 4x4 4.0 SOHC, 20" Mondera Cristals, etc... 1993 Ranger S-Cab, 2 pump Showtime hydros, 18" Luxor Knock-Off's, shaved, ragged, tweeded, etc... 1996 Probe GT Dropped, 18" Mille Miglias, etc... So, any word on this did you get the wheels? I live pretty close to Youngstown OH and I can say that I have never seen any local shop carry these, never looked too too much but if you got any ?'s PM me and I can ask a local shop what they think of the wheels.

im actually thinking of getting some offroad tires on my current rims this summer...maybe (i know, i know - it must be getting chilly in hell. ) i cant get 31's in a 17" rim, so id have to get 265 70 r17's, which are like 31.8" tall, which shouldnt be a problem, unless it forces me to do the TT lift, in which in case i wont get them, cuz i wouldnt be able to fit my truck in the garage with the TT (i dont think, but im not gonna chance it.) im only considering new tires because i think my vibration in my truck is due to my tires, which are tough to keep the wear even on, since theyre so damn wide.anyway, the only rim/speed shop that i ever saw that carries the limited 208's is a place around the corner from where i just moved (i was gonna order from off the internet.) they have a white 1st gen navigator out front that is their "display" truck - its such an amazing vehicle. i could go on for pages with all the stuff it has done, but ill say that it has the limited 208's in 22" (at least i think theyre 22's - i didnt look at the size, but 20's would look much smaller on this truck.) the menatlity i have right now, as far as vehicles go, is that i might as well throw some big tires on this truck and keep it for a long time (if itll last.) look at all the new suv's out there - theyre ALL crossover vehicles, which means that this is prolly the last truck based suv ill own (at least until the suv market does a 180.) so ill save the street scene for the next "truck" (if you really wanna call those vehicles "trucks.") __________________ "Sometimes I dream That he is me Can't you see that's how I wish my X to be Like tbomb's, if my X could be like tbomb's." icon34 |
