Question Switch for cargo??

I'm wanting to install a switch for the cargo light. What I need to accomplish is - when I open just the hatch glass and not the entire hatch, I would like to have a toggle of some kind to mount in the back to turn the cargo light on.

Thanks in advance...

Jim

This is something I am wanting to do but haven't yet. I am planning on putting a switch in the rear panel and bypass the hatch switch and wiring it to the new switch.
