quick intake question

When installing my new KKM i accidently over tightened one of the four bolts and stripped the threads in the bracket. So now one of the corners isnt very tight and i think its sucking in extra air. Sometimes there is a very loud humming noise coming from under the hood which i assume is from this. But i was wondering if this can have any negative effect on my truck.

It probably would be sealed tight with only 3 bolts working if it wasnt for that wire net peice that goes between the KKM bracket and the bracket on the MAF. This makes a gap and would only be completely sealed with the pressure of all four bolts squeezing the brackets together. I was wondering if maybe i put that wire net in the wrong spot....

If not then does anyone know an easy way to fix this? Like some sort of sealing stuff?
.....Its not really possible to use a bolt and a nut because the hole goes right up against the plastic tube that holds the filter.

Thanks,
Sean

Why not simply get a new bolt?

you can get a little silicon caulk and put around the area.

Ah even better pull the bolt and wrap it with teflon tape it will tighten back up if you don't crank it too hard. When I built boats we would use a wire tie in the hole and tighten the bolt, then trim off the wire tie. the wire tie form around the bolt to tighten it in the hole.
